MOSCOW, September 25 (Itar-Tass) — Maxim Liksutov was appointed as Moscow deputy mayor for transport. Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin has voiced the decision about the reshuffles in the Moscow government at a meeting of the city government on Tuesday.

Opening the meeting, the mayor noted that Nikolai Lyamov, who occupied earlier the post of the deputy mayor for transport, “is transferred to another post.” In this respect, head of the Moscow department for transport and road infrastructure Maxim Liksutov was appointed at the vacant post of the deputy mayor. The Moscow mayor urged the Moscow government to give all-round assistance to Liksutov, because the transport issues are among the most pressing problems in the city.

Maxim Liksutov, 36, has occupied the post of the head of the transport department since December 2011. Before this post he ruled the Aeroexpress Company.
