Road accident in Russia’s Amur region kills six

The driver of a Mitsubishi car lost control of the vehicle, which went off the road and overturned. All people who were inside the car

KHABAROVSK, September 25 (Itar-Tass) —— Six persons died in a road accident in Russia’s Far Eastern Amur region, a spokesman for the regional emergencies administration told Itar-Tass on Tuesday.

According to the spokesman, the accident took place late on Monday in the motorway section between the town of Shimanovsk and the settlement of Cahgoyan. The driver of a Mitsubishi car lost control of the vehicle, which went off the road and overturned. All people who were inside the car – five men and a girl – died instantly.

According to traffic police, the driver, a 19-year-old resident of Shimanovsk, had no driving license. Experts are to establish whether he was drunk. An investigation is underway.
