Moscow court to begin consideration over US scandal film on Oct 17

After the film about Prophet Mohammad came out in the United States, anti-American protests swept Muslim countries

MOSCOW, September 21 (Itar-Tass) — Moscow's Tverskoi district court on October 17 will begin considering the statement of the Moscow Prosecutor's Office to declare the scandal film Innocence of Muslims extremist.

The preparation for the consideration of the case to declare the film extremist will begin at 10:00 on October 17, the Tverskoi court's press secretary Murad Dalgatov told Itar-Tass.

After the film about Prophet Mohammad came out in the United States, anti-American protests swept Muslim countries, including Libya, Egypt, Tunisia and Sudan. When the U.S. Consulate in Libya's Benghazi was attacked, American Ambassador Christopher Stevens and other three people who worked at the diplomatic representative office were killed.
