MOSCOW, September 21 (Itar-Tass) — A major fire broke out overnight to Friday at an administrative building in central Moscow. There have been no reports about injured people, the press service of the Moscow department of the Russian Ministry for Emergency Situations reports.

The fire alarm call came at 2:53 am Moscow time. The fire broke out at an old two-storeyed building in Vrazhsky Side Street, in that part of it that undergoes reconstruction. The area of the fire was 600 square meters. Firemen took four gas cylinders out of the building. “The fire has been localized and efforts to put it out continue,” an EMERCOM officer said. He stressed that there had been no reports about injured people.

There were no people at that time in the other part of the building which houses offices, he said. Fifteen fire brigades combat the blaze.
