MOSCOW, September 19 (Itar-Tass) — Russia's off-parliament political opposition has appointed its next major street action for the beginning of December, Sergei Udaltsov, a coordinator of the Left-Wing Front movement told Itar-Tass.

"The organizing committee /of the unified opposition/ has decided to hold the next session at the beginning of December to mark one year since the start of mass protests in this country," he said.

Earlier plans indicated that radical opposition forces were considering October 20 as the date of a possible action so that it would be timed to the election of the so-called 'Coordination Council of Protest Actions'.

Udaltsov confirmed an action in support of election of the Coordination Council will be held October but the oppositionists will make public its format and character somewhat later.
