MAKHACHKALA, September 15 (Itar-Tass) —— Law-enforcers are fighting with a group of gunmen near the village of Kutrakh in Dagestan.
According to the preliminary information, unknown persons opened fire on servicemen, killing one and wounding three, law-enforcement sources in the republic said. Whether there are losses among the attackers is not known so far.
Additional forces are moving to the site.
As was also said, a contact serviceman of the Russian Defence Ministry hit a mine in a forest in the same Dagestani district. He was taken to hospital. The serviceman has severe wounds.
Law-enforcers are combing through the area. According to locals, they saw groups of three-four gunmen moving in the forest. Search for the gunmen is underway.
