GROZNY, September 14 (Itar-Tass) — A cache with weapons and ammunition was found in a search operation in the Sharoi district of Chechnya, the press service of the republican Interior Ministry told Itar-Tass on Friday.

The ministry reported that the arms cache, which was planted in the cave on the mountain slope, contained a Kalashnikov submachine gun and two full magazines to it, four trotyle charges with a total weight of one kilogram and 200 grams and a webbed gear with six magazines to the submachine gun loaded with 5.45-mm 180 cartridges and two grenades F-1.

All the content of the arms cache was strongly corroded, the press service reported. At the entrance to the cave, the fuses, which were partially covered with the ground, were found. The arms cache was destroyed in the blast. According to available reports, the arms cache belonged active gunman Osem Kasumov, who was destroyed in a special operation in the Shatoi district in the republic in January 2011.

The Interior Ministry also reported that the police detained an accomplice, who is a resident from the village Elistanzhi in the Vedeno district. Last August, according to available reports, he acted as an accomplice to the gunmen.
