ATHENS, September 14 (Itar-Tass) — Twenty Russian citizens, who were travelling in a bus that capsized near Thessaloniki on Friday, were discharged from hospital after the first aid, the Athens news agency (ANA) reported on Friday with the reference to doctors.
“Twenty Russian tourists, who were travelling in the bus that capsized on the highway leading to Thessaloniki on Friday, were discharged from the hospital Gennimatas. Four out of 49 passengers were killed in the road accident,” the ANA news agency reported. “Right ten ambulances rushed to the incident site. The ambulances have brought four dead passengers to the hospitals Gennimatas and AHEPA,” ANA reported.
Some 33 adults and four children, as well as two road accident victims were brought to the hospital, Director of the hospital Gennimatas Pavlos Papadopoulos said. After the first aid 20 people were checked out from the hospital, and from 17 people, who were left at the hospital for treatment, three people (two adults and a child) underwent surgeries. None of them is on the critical list now. The doctors and other medics are giving any possible aid to the wounded people.
“Nine other people wounded in the same road accident and two dead tourists were brought to the hospital AHEPA,” the news agency reported. Two of them underwent surgeries, their lives are out of danger. Another injured person with fractures is on the critical list in the intensive therapy ward. Six wounded people with fractures and other injuries are also getting the medical aid.
