MOSCOW, September 14 (Itar-Tass) — The Russian Investigation Committee extended the term of an inquiry prior to the investigation until September 23 against State Duma deputy Gennady Gudkov over the corpus delicti in his actions, deputy chairperson of the Investigation Committee Yelena Leonenko said on Friday.
The main investigation department of the Russian Investigation Committee is conducting a procedural inquiry in the illegal participation of the deputy in business activities on the accusations under Article 289 of the Criminal Code for illegal participation in business activities that envisages a fine of up to 300,000 roubles or the deprivation of the right to work at concrete posts for a term of up to five years, correctional orks or even a term of up to two years in prison.
