Three teenagers die buried by collapsed car shed in Novosibirsk region

The boys aged from 12 to 13 were collecting scrap metal in the idling shed once owned by a former local collective farm

NOVOSIBIRSK, September 14 (Itar-Tass) — Three teenagers died buried in the debris of a collapsed car shed in the settlement of Voronovo in Novosibirsk region, a spokesman for the regional emergencies administration told Itar-Tass on Friday.

According to the spokesman, the accident took place at about 21:00 local time (18:00 Moscow tome) on Thursday. The boys aged from 12 to 13 were collecting scrap metal in the idling shed once owned by a former local collective farm, which ceased to exist 15 years ago.

The Novosibirsk regional administration of the Russian Investigations Committee has launched a pre-investigation check.

The head of the local administration, Sergei Yevstifeyev, promised material help to the families of the boys.
