MOSCOW, September 13 (Itar-Tass) — Traffic will be restricted downtown Moscow on Saturday as the opposition is planning to hold a March of Millions on September 15, the press service of the State Inspectorate for the Safety of Road Traffic said on Thursday.

Several marches and rallies will be held in Moscow on September 15. The Moscow mayor’s office and the opposition members have eventually agreed on the route for the march: it will set off near the Pushkinskiy cinema hall and will then move on the Boulevard Ring to the Academician Sakharov Avenue. A 25,000-strong rally is to be held at the external side of the Sakharov Avenue, Alexei Mayorov, the head of the Moscow regional security department, told Itar-Tass. Therefore, traffic will be restricted on the Sakharov Avenue and from the Sadovo-Spasskaya to Kalanchyovskaya streets from 01:00 Moscow time until the rallies are over.

Traffic will also be restricted on Strastnoy, Petrovsky, Rozhdestvensky and Sretensky boulevards, the Bolshoi Putinkovskiy Lane and the Sakharov Avenue on a section from Turgenev Square to Sadovo-Spasskaya Street from 11:00 to 16:00.

Besides, mass sport events will take place in Moscow on September 16. Traffic, including public transport, will be restricted on Khamovnichesky Val and Luzhentskaya and Frunzenskaya embankments from 17:00 till the end of competitions on Sunday.
