MAKHACHKALA, September 13 (Itar-Tass) —— Three gunmen are blocked in a private house in the settlement of Balakhani of Dagestan’s Untsukul region.
As ITAR-TASS learnt at the republic’s law enforcement bodies, “police spotted three gunmen in the yard of a private house and tried to detain them. Then the gunmen opened fire.”
The house holding was blocked and measures are being taken to neutralize the gunmen.
According to the Interior Ministry of Dagestan, on Wednesday, at about 20.15 Moscow time, a clash between law enforcers and a group of militants occurred on the outskirts of the settlement of Balakhani, as a result of which another law enforcer got an injury. At night the place of the incident was blocked. In the day time the search for the attackers was resumed.
