PETROPAVLOVSK-KAMCHATSKY, September 12 (Itar-Tass) — An An-28 plane, which was on a passenger transportation flight from Palana to Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky, made an emergency landing. There has been no word about anyone hurt or any loss of life, a Kamchatka Territory government source has told Itar-Tass.

Contact with the plane was lost at 12:28, local time, on Wednesday. It is supposed that the plane made an emergency landing after five minutes of flight from the Palana airfield. The plane was carrying eleven passengers, including one child. The circumstances of the incident are being verified. Rescuers are now on their way to the scene of the incident.
