SOCHI, September 11 (Itar-Tass) —— President Vladimir Putin hopes that the European Commission claims to Gazprom will be settled. At the same time, Russia is prepared to seek other gas markets, he added.
“We would like the European Commission to clarify the hitherto unclear issues shortly so that we could work together calmly,” he said after negotiations with Serbian President Tomislav Nikolic on Tuesday. “Hopefully, that will be done.”
“We must do our best to settle any complications and problems with our European partners. We will be trying to do that. At the same time, Russia will seek other markets,” he said.
“I have just spoken to Asian leaders in Vladivostok. They are waiting for our energy resources. We will accelerate the construction of LNG plants and will offer our resources to world markets,” he said.
