VLADIVOSTOK, September 9 (Itar-Tass) — President Vladimir Putin has offered bloggers commenting on his recent hang-glider flight with Siberian white cranes to follow suit.
“Why do the talking? You may try that, too,” he told a Sunday press conference upon the end of the APEC Vladivostok summit.
Putin participated in the campaign for saving the Siberian white crane species on September 5. He made three flights aboard a hang-glider the cranes took for their leader. The first flight was familiarizing and the other two were made jointly with the birds. Putin’s endeavor triggered a spree of blogger postings.
