Syrian settlement requires political dialogue rather than looking for those to blame, Gatilov said

The main thing is to take effort to kick off a political dialogue in Syria using the available mediation instruments, he wrote in his Twitter

MOSCOW, September 9 (Itar-Tass) — To settle the Syrian crisis it is necessary to take effort to promptly launch a political dialogue rather than indulge in looking for those to put the blame to, Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Gennady Gatilov said on Sunday.

“The main thing now is not to look for those to blame but to take effort to kick off a political dialogue in Syria using the available mediation instruments,” he wrote in his Twitter microblog. “The United Nations Secretary General is fully aware of what the United Nations Security Council members are guided while discussing the Syrian crisis.”
