VLADIVOSTOK, September 9 (Itar-Tass) — The APEC summit Russia hosted in its Far Eastern city of Vladivostok has fulfilled its tasks, Russian President Vladimir Putin told a news conference on the summit results on Sunday.

“We believe that the tasks that were put before the summit have been fulfilled,” the Russian president said. “We not only preserved the continuity of the APEC activity but also outlined new horizons.”

According to Putin, the key result of the summit is its declaration which reflects the forum’s results and words a future agenda.
