VLADIVOSTOK, September 8 (Itar-Tass) —— Chile will be invited to the G-20 summit in Russia in 2013, Russia’s President Vladimir Putin said during a meeting with his Chilean counterpart Sebastian Pinera on Saturday.
“This year, we participated in a G-20 summit at the invitation of the Mexican side,” Pinera said. “Next year, as we know, the summit is due in Russia, thus it would be big honour for us to participate in the summit.”
The Russian leader said Russia would invite Chile to the summit.
“We have kind, wonderful relations, we should transfer them into the sphere of our partnership in the economy,” Putin said.
