RF and Japan sign 3 documents on sidelines of APEC summit

In particular, the sides signed an agreement on combating the poaching of living sea resources in border regions

VLADIVOSTOK, September 8 (Itar-Tass) —— Russia and Japan have signed three documents on the sidelines of the APEC summit on Saturday.

The signing ceremony was held in the presence of Russian President Vladimir Putin and Japanese Prime Minister Yoshihiko Noda on the results of their Saturday’s bilateral meeting.

In particular, the sides signed an agreement on combating the poaching of living sea resources in border regions, a memorandum on mutual understanding between Gazprom and the Japanese Natural Resources and Energy Agency on natural resources and energy regarding the project Vladivostok SPG, as well as a contract on the construction of a major timber-chemical complex.
