RUSSKY ISLAND, Vladivostok, September 8 (Itar-Tass) —— Russian President Vladimir Putin believes that mutual investments by Russia and South Korea are not developed well enough.
At a meeting with South Korea’s President Lee Myung-bak Putin said that at the same time the Republic of Korea was Russia’s third largest trading partner in the Asia-Pacific Region.
Of late, the economic relations began to be diversified.
Putin voiced satisfaction over the high level of political cooperation between the two countries.
Lee said that he was really amazed at the changes that had taken place in the region over the past 20 years. “Despite the unfavorable economic situation in the world bilateral relations are developing well,” he said, adding it was to be hoped this trend would continue.
“If the visa regimen between the two countries is canceled, this will help intensify relations between peoples,” Lee said. He would like to see wider cultural exchanges between his country and Russia.
