MOSCOW, September 7 (Itar-Tass) — One man was badly injured in an explosion at a forensic laboratory in a Moscow northern suburb, a police spokesman told Itar-Tass on Friday.
According to the spokesman, the explosion occurred at 12:30 Moscow time in the premises of the forensic centre located in Zoya and Alexander Kosmodemyanskikh Street. “A minor explosion occurred during the process of studying samples. The blast badly injured one man. His hands were torn off,” the spokesman said.
The man was hospitalized. No fire followed. The building was not damaged. An investigation is underway.
