United Russia to revise party projects

Gryzlov recalled that at present United Russia had 43 federal and 47 regional projects

MOSCOW, September 6 (Itar-Tass) — The United Russia party on Thursday approved a new party project called “Russian Forest”.

Boris Gryzlov, the head of United Russia’s High Council, told journalists that the party would continue working on projects and programs that were already under way and to which the party attached great importance. At the same time, he said that United Russia was going to revise its projects.

Gryzlov recalled that at present United Russia had 43 federal and 47 regional projects. Some of them have already grown into federal programs.

“We are going to revise our projects in terms of their urgency,” Gryzlov said. He added that some projects would be amalgamated and coordinators of some of them would be replaced. He explained that some of the former coordinators had failed to make it to deputies of the Russian State Duma of the present convocation.

The bureau of the High Council will adopt the final list of projects in October, Gryzlov said.
