6 policemen killed, one policeman injured in attack in Ingushetia

NAZRAN, September 5 (Itar-Tass) — Six policemen were killed and another one policeman was injured in the attack on a military convoy near Datykh in the Sunzha district, Ingushetia, on Wednesday. The republican Interior Ministry reported to Itar-Tass about these casualties.

Five killed policemen and one injured policeman were reported before.

The Interior Ministry reported that the handmade bomb was detonated at about 13:00 Moscow time on Wednesday on the way of a military convoy, which consisted of an Ural truck and an UAZ truck. Then the gang of about ten bandits fired at the cars and escaped in the forest.

Military units were dispatched to the clash site. The attackers are about to be blocked and detained.

The top brass of the republican Interior Ministry and the group of detectives arrived at the incident site.
