MOSCOW, September 4 (Itar-Tass) — The Moscow Mayor’s Office refused to the opposition to authorize the March of Millions, coordinator of the Left Front Sergei Udaltsov told Itar-Tass on Tuesday.
“The Mayor’s Office cited an applicant for the march Sergei Davidis, who had two administrative offences this year, and under the newly enacted law he cannot be an applicant of a massive event,” Udaltsov said. “We will have to file a new bid tomorrow, change the applicant, though Davidis claims that he does not have two offences,” Udaltsov said.
The opposition filed a bid in the Moscow Mayor’s Office for a march and a rally (the March of Millions) for September 15.
