KHABAROVSK, September 4 (Itar-Tass) — A five magnitude quake rocked Yakutia (the Republic of Sakha), Russia’s Far East, on Monday.
The quake’s epicenter was located 40 kilometers east of the village of Ulaga, the Verkhoyansk district, at the depth of 33 kilometers, the Far Eastern emergencies centre told Itar-Tass on Tuesday with reference to the Geophysical Service of the Far Eastern branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences.
No victims or destructions were reported.
No earth tremors were felt in the cities and villages of Yakutia.
