RF will react if London imposes sanctions on RF citizens, Foreign Ministry spokesman said

There are reports in British mass media saying there is a blacklist for Russians involved in the Magnitsky case

MOSCOW, September 3 (Itar-Tass) — Moscow will react in accordance with diplomatic procedure whether London imposes sanctions against Russians, Foreign Ministry spokesman Alexander Lukashevich said on Monday.

Commenting on British mass media reports saying there is a blacklist for Russians involved in the Magnitsky case, Lukashevich said, “We found this report and asked the British authorities to confirm or deny it. Depending on the response we will determine our position.”

“It is clear that whether London imposes any sanctions against Russian citizens, Russia will react in accordance with diplomatic procedure,” the diplomat stressed.
