MOSCOW, August 31 (Itar-Tass) — A number of Other Russia supporters have come to the Moscow city administration’s liaison office to demand a meeting with Mayor Sergei Sobyanin.
They carry no signs, make no political demands and stay calm, the police told Itar-Tass.
Other Russia Executive Committee member Sergei Fomchenko said they wished to discuss with the mayor the possible removal of barriers on Moscow’s Triumfalnaya Square, which impeded the holding of rallies. “Muscovites have been deprived of a key square of this city for pure political reasons,” he said.
