Typhoons won’t spoil weather in Vladivostok in APEC summit days

The weather will be warm on the first days of the APEC summit week, on September 1-2

VLADIVOSTOK, August 31 (Itar-Tass) — Typhoons won’t spoil weather in Vladivostok in the days of the APEC summit 2012, Primorye territorial hydro-meteorological center head Boris Kubai told reporters on Friday.

“I can assure you there are no typhoons, even far in distance, to threaten Vladivostok on September 2-9. No cataclysms are expected,” he said.

The weather will be warm on the first days of the APEC summit week, on September 1-2. There will be a rather active atmospheric front with pouring rains, thunderstorms and high winds on September 4. Temperatures will be rather low in the morning and the sun will shine in the afternoon on September 5, 6 and 7. It is highly probable the weather won’t change on September 8 and 9, he said.
