MOSCOW, August 31 (Itar-Tass) — Russian President Vladimir Putin and Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev expressed their heartfelt condolences to the relatives of People's Artist Igor Kvasha who died in Moscow at the age of 80 on Thursday, the government press service said.
Kvasha, a graduate of the Mkhat studio school, was actor at the Gorky Moscow art theatre from 1955 through 1957. He was a Sovremennik Theatre actor from 1957. Kvasha played roles in some 60 movies.
In the recent years, he has been host of the Wait For Me television show on First Channel.
