MOSCOW, August 27 (Itar-Tass) — Communist Party leader Gennady Zyuganov reiterated that Communists would prevent Lenin’s burial.
“A decision to this effect was taken by the congress that legitimized the Russian Federation. The decision was taken by our fathers and grandfathers. This corresponds to Orthodox canons and traditions,” the Communist Party leader stressed.
Those who doubt should go to the Kiev-Pechersk Lavra and look at the saints’ relics, he said. “Go to the Kiev-Pechersk Lavra and look at the relics of Ilya of Murom,” Zyuganov said.
“Don’t worry!” Zyuganov said. “No problem is solved in the country and we are going to act like in Chechnya,” Zyuganov said.
“Nobody allows you to do this. We will prevent this barbarian act,” he said.
