KRASNODAR, August 25 (Itar-Tass) — Preventive vaccine treatment has been completed in the Tuapse district that was hit by the disastrous flood, Krasnodar Territory Healthcare Minister Yelena Redko told Itar-Tass on Saturday.
“Doctors vaccinated 100 percent of people. Totally, over 5,000 people were vaccinated in the district,” Redko said.
A total of 25 medical brigades, including six paediatric ones, have been formed. People’s condition and infectious diseases are monitored daily. Till now no people have addressed to hospital, the minister said.
On August 22, rainstorms made the water rise in the rivers of the Novomikhailovsky settlement, the villages of Tenginka and Lermontovo. Four people died. At least 800 buildings, including houses and socially important facilities, were waterlogged.
