MOSCOW, August 24 (Itar-Tass) —— Compensations of 150,000 rubles for property lost in the Kuban flood of July 7 have been paid to 29,183 citizens, the Labor and Social Security Ministry reports.
“As of 6:00 p.m. on August 23, allowances of 10,000 rubles were paid to 69,981 people,” it said.
The ministry is monitoring rehabilitation of elderly citizens, people with disabilities and pregnant women on the flood-damaged territory. Some 3,000 elderly people, 2,000 people with disabilities and 132 pregnant women have expressed the wish to visit health resorts, it said. Besides, rehabilitation will be provided to 3,612 children.
