KRASNODAR, August 24 (Itar-Tass) —— Flood damage to the Tuapse district has been estimated at one billion rubles, the press service of the Krasnodar governor reports.
Novomikhailovsky was flooded early on August 22 morning as a result of pouring rains. The level of the Nechepsukho River grew sharply to 2.1-2.5 meters. Tenginka and Lermontovo were damaged, too. Four people died.
In all, the flood affected 1,837 people and 339 homes, the Krasnodar territorial administration said.
