Turkish president to break off visit to Kyrgyzstan – television

Abdullah Gul developed the recurrent ear disease

ANKARA, August 23 (Itar-Tass) — Turkish President Abdullah Gul will break off the visit to Kyrgyzstan because of the indisposition, local television said on Thursday.

Gul developed the recurrent ear disease. So, the president will return to Ankara in the afternoon and not on Friday as it was earlier scheduled.

The Turkish president arrived in the Kyrgyz capital to take part in the summit of the Cooperation Council of Turkic Speaking Countries. The summit is devoted to the development cooperation between the countries. The Council involves Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Turkmenistan and Turkey.

Gul decided to take part in the official part of the summit. After the bilateral talks he will leave for Ankara.
