TEL AVIV, August 21 (Itar-Tass) —— Israeli police are searching for a Russian tourist missing in the Dead Sea area, the Israeli Internal Security Ministry said on Tuesday.
“A friend is looking for the tourist. He made a statement to the police two weeks after she failed to board her plane to Moscow,” a ministry representative said. Russian diplomats said they stayed in touch with Israeli colleagues.
The local media said that Emilia Senchenko, 26, was supposed to depart from Israel on August 3. She checked out from her hotel, took a taxi and disappeared.
