MOSCOW, August 21 (Itar-Tass) — The Syrian authorities pledge the security of all opposition forces wishing to return to the home country, Syrian National Reconciliation Minister Ali Haydar told a Tuesday press conference in Moscow.
He said the Tuesday meeting with Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov was cordial and useful and the sides discussed ways and methods of resolving the crisis. The national dialog is the most important now, the minister said.
He also said the Syrian authorities were prepared to listen to all Syrians and to ensure the security of heads of every political and non-political force wishing to return to Syria. The minister thinks they can find a way to inter-Syrian settlement together.
