MOSCOW, August 19 (Itar-Tass) – The Sunday explosion in Ingushetia killed seven people and wounded 15, the Russian Emergency Situations Ministry told Itar-Tass.
A suicide bomber approached a group of policemen burying their colleague, Ilez Korigov, at about 9:40 a.m., and blasted the bomb, the Ingush department of the Russian Investigation Committee said.
“The explosion killed seven people and injured 15, five of them are on the critical list,” the ministry said.
The ministry said earlier it was prepared to send a medical plane to Ingushetia for transporting the injured to Moscow hospitals.
