KRASNODAR, August 18 (Itar-Tass) —— Formation of tornadoes is possible over the Black Sea in the area of Tuapse this Saturday, the press service of the Emergencies Ministry’s regional department warns.
A storm warning is issued for the Black Sea coast, a duty officer said.
The area of Tuapse (the Inal Bay and the river Shepsi) may be affected most severely. Tornadoes may hit ships in the sea, damage buildings, bridges, supply facilities and electro-transmission lines, the department warns.
Additional transport is brought to the Inal-Shepsi area to be ready in case of evacuation of holidaymakers.
