MOSCOW, August 17 (Itar-Tass) — The investigation into the criminal case against one of the persons accused of attacking environmentalist Konstantin Fetisov is completed.
Denis Rastokin is charged with beating the environmentalist and also with embezzlement, a Russian Investigative Committee source told Itar-Tass.
The investigators have established that Rastokin together with Vazgen Tsaturyan beat Fetisov. Besides, as is established, Rastokin stole 290,000 roubles from the travel agency where he worked as a courier in 2005.
The criminal case against Rastokin was separated from the proceedings against the others since a pre-trial agreement on cooperation was concluded with him.
The rest persons charged with the attack on Fetisov continue to study the case materials. The rest are head of the municipal property and privatization department of the Khimki administration committee for property management Andrei Chernyshev and Andrei Kashirin, Vyacheslav Kovalyov, Maxim Kriventsov and Vazgen Tsaturyan.
The separate case against one more person, who is declared insane after a psychiatric examination, is referred to a prosecutor.
