MOSCOW, August 15 (Itar-Tass) —— Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev issued a directive appointing Natalia Stadchenko as Chair of the Federal Mandatory Health Insurance Fund, the government press service said on Wednesday, August 15.

The Federal Mandatory Health Insurance Fund carries out the state policy in the field of mandatory health insurance of people as part of the state social insurance programme.

The Fund is a legal entity, it has its own balance sheet, property and accounts in the Central Bank and other lending institutions.
