MINSK, August 15 (Itar-Tass) — Belarus fully supports Russia’s stance on the Syrian issue, President Alexander Lukashenko said at a meeting with Russia’s visiting Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov on Wednesday.
“As far as our position on international issues is concerned, in the first place, that concerning the trouble spots, it filly coincides with the opinion and actions of the Russian Federation,” he said.
“In this respect you have nothing to worry about. We support your strivings, in particular, those in relation to Syria, for normalizing the situation there,” Lukashenko said.
