MAKHACHKALA, August 11 (Itar-Tass) —— Chief of the criminal investigation police department of Dagestan's city of Buinaks Omar Daudov was injured in the city.
As ITAR-TASS learnt at the republic's law enforcement bodies, on Friday, at 21.40 Moscow time, unidentified people fired, supposedly from a pistol, at Daudov who was standing near his car in Lomonosov Street.
The policeman was hospitalized with bullet wounds. Now doctors assess his state of health as stable.
Criminal proceedings were instituted.
