MOSCOW, August 8 (Itar-Tass) — Moscow's Tverskoi court on Wednesday handed down suspended sentences and jail terms to defendants within the second case over disturbances in Moscow's Manezhnaya Square in December 2010.

Nikolai Dvoinyakov was sentenced to two years in prison, Vladimir Kirpichnikov to three years, and two other defendants - Grigory Vilchenko and Vitaly Vasin were given 2- and 3-year suspended sentences, respectively.

Earlier, prosecutors demanded that the defendants be punished with two-year suspended sentences to three years imprisonment. The suspended sentences were given due to the fact that Vasin has 2nd group disability /he suffers from diabetes/, while Vilchenko was underage as of the moment of crime, a prosecutor explained.
