MOSCOW, August 8 (Itar-Tass) — There were no serious incidents at Madonna’s concert in Moscow on Tuesday. About 200 police officers and more than 200 employees of private security companies ensured order at the Olympiysky (Olympic) sports complex, the press service of the Russian Interior Ministry’s main department for Moscow told Itar-Tass.
“The police fully secured public order at the event,” the press service said.
More than 21 thousand spectators attended the concert.
On the eve of the performance, the sports complex and the surrounding area was examined by specialists with sniffer dogs. The spectators were admitted into the territory of the Olympic sports complex through 25 metal detector gates.
