“It is necessary to call on the business community as well, which opts for this path in a bid to win competitive advantages,” - Putin noted

SETTLEMENT ZERKALNY, Leningrad region, August 7 (Itar-Tass) —— Russian President Vladimir Putin has put the blame for corruption in the country both on officials and businessmen who this way seek to win competitive advantages.

“The mere fact that people pay attention to it is a good sign,” the president said on Tuesday commenting on an open letter by popular musician Andrei Makarevich dedicated to problems of corruption. “But is seems improbable that people who pay attention to this problem are abale to offer any efficient tools to fight it.”
