MOSCOW, August 7 (Itar-Tass) — Police are checking the statement by Opposition activist Alexei Navalny, who complained that his office was bugged, a city law-enforcement official told Itar-Tass on Tuesday.
Earlier, Navalny reported on Twitter that he had found a bug in his office.
A police rapid response unit quickly went to a Navalny's address after he reported about a listening device on Monday afternoon, the official said.
"Navalny wrote a statement to police. A check is underway; the procedural decision is pending its results," he added.
