Putin makes appointments in RF internal affairs bodies

MOSCOW, August 6 (Itar-Tass) — Russian President Vladimir Putin has signed a Decree “On the Appointment of Officers of Bodies of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation,” the Kremlin press service reported on Monday.

The Decree says, in part: “To appoint: Police Colonel Pyotr Grishin – as First Deputy Chief of the Criminal Expertise Centre of the RF Interior Ministry; Police Colonel Boris Kolesnikov – as Deputy Chief of the Main Economic Security and Anti-Corruption Department of the RF Interior Ministry, Police Major-General Sergei Matveyev – as Chief of the Operations and Search Bureau of the RF Interior Ministry, releasing him from office, Justice Major-General Yuri Shihin – as First Deputy Head of the Investigation Department of the RF Interior Ministry, relieving him of his post.”
