KRASNOYARSK, August 5 (Itar-Tass) — Police have put on the wanted list three men suspected of throwing a hand grenade in the yard of an apartment building in Krasnoyarsk, the press service of the regional Interior Ministry’s department reports.

According to the press service, two groups of men quarreled late on Saturday in the yard of a multi-storey apartment building in Metallurgov Avenue. “Three men in a drunken state were drinking near the entrance to the house. They behaved aggressively and violated public order,” its sources said.

“A group of five people passing by gave them a rebuke. The groups stroke up the war of words, during which a young man hit one of the drunken men. After that the drunken group left the yard,” the sources said.

However, they returned some time later and threw a grenade at their offenders. Four men and a 45-year-old woman received minor fragmentation wounds in the blast. Besides, the blast wave smashed five windows of the residential building and damaged two vehicles. The perpetrators vanished from the site.

The injured people received medical assistance at the site. A fragment of the grenade was found at the site and sent for an expertise. The regional investigation department said that criminal proceedings had been instituted under Article 105 of the Russian Criminal Code (Attempt on Somebody’s Life), as well as Article 222 (Illegal Storage of Ammunition).
