Some organized the celebration very creatively. For example, a flashmob "175 Years Together with the Country" will take place at the Oktyabrskaya railway on Sunday. At 14:00 Moscow time, railway workers and members of their families at special grounds in St. Petersburg, Murmansk, Novgorod, Pskov, Petrozavodsk, Vyborg, Tver and other cities will release 175,000 balloons into the sky. All the trains on their way will whistle at the same moment, the source said.
Festive concerts will be given at stadiums, culture palaces and squares for railway workers, their families and all other citizens.
