Lawyers for the defendants called the indictment "a disgrace"

MOSCOW, July 30 (Itar-Tass) — At the trial in Moscow's Khamovniki court on Monday, after the indictment was presented, the defendants -- Nadezhda Tolokonnikova, Maria Alyokhina and Yekaterina Samutsevich, Pussy Riot punk group members, refused to plead guilty of hooliganism committed in the Cathedral of Christ the Savior.

"We plead not guilty," all the three defendants replied to Judge Marina Syrova's question whether they admitted their guilt.
